Our Mission

Detox Day Spa’s mission is to educate, empower, inform and inspire its clients and the general public of how the body functions, why it goes into dysfunction and how to bring the body back to cellular-level balance. Before we begin, we should state that we are not medical professionals, nor do we dispense medical advice. We provide information, resources and tools to allow clients and the public to make lifestyle changes for themselves.

Through the Spa’s onsite services and online detox program, clients have resolved common medical diagnoses, such as diabetes, back pain, IBS and related digestive issues, anxiety, allergy and sinus issues, thyroid and other hormonal imbalances, respiratory problems, fibromyalgia, depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease, UTI’s and more.

Toxins are everywhere, and in everything. Our food, water and personal-care products are laced with harmful toxins that overwhelm our bodies, causing or contributing to cellular-level dysfunction. When compared to other countries, which have laws in place to protect the general public, the U.S. has no food protection or similar laws in place.

In addition, the food pyramid in the U.S. has been hijacked by the dairy, meat and CPG industries, and the pyramid is reinforced by doctors, who have very limited nutritional training. Doctors are trained to help increase profits for Big Pharma, so their training relates to prescription medications, vaccines, surgeries and toxic testing.

The Spa’s goal is to facilitate education on these topics and more, plus insights what happens when the body becomes too toxic. Common infections caused by harmful cell debris include:

  • Candida or yeast overgrowth
  • Parasitic infections
  • Epstein Barr (Herpes virus)
  • Mold
  • Heavy metals
  • Uric acid

These infections can lead to:

  • Lack of proper bacteria in the gut, where 80% of our immunity resides
  • Brain fog, or reduced ability to concentrate, due to gut bacteria imbalance. Approximately 70% of the serotonin and dopamine is produced in the gut.
  • Inability for the body to properly detox or flush itself of toxins, overwhelming the liver, kidneys and other support organs.
  • Reduced enzyme functionality, and enzymes helps us to digest proteins, fats and sugars, among other key processes.
  • Mineral deficiencies, such as magnesium, iron and B-vitamins and magnesium, the co-factor in the body’s enzyme processes.

All of this means that the body begins its descent into cellular-level dysfunction, where the gut goes bad; the body’s organs stop working as well as they should (or altogether); and you drift further and further away from cellular-level balance and hope for healing.
