“High-fructose corn syrup is very prevalent,” said Dr. Michel Chonchol, MD, the senior author of the study and blood pressure specialist at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, in Aurora. “If you go to grocery stores, it’s everywhere.”
