Approximately one month ago Mary Hotchkiss stopped into the Spa with her husband Loren. She explained that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and the oncologist said chemo treatments were her foreseeable future.
Mary, who had battled stage 3 lung cancer with six rounds of chemotherapy treatments in 2016, wanted to take an integrative approach this time — and it was OK’ed by her oncologist and medical social worker, she said.
Chemotherapy treatment can last for anywhere from 3 to 6 months. During that time, you would be considered to be immunocompromised — not as able to fight infection. After finishing chemotherapy treatment, it can take anywhere from about 21 to 28 days for your immune system to recover, according to cancer.org. Chemotherapy is out of your system a number of hours after you’ve had it given but the side effects can take up to about six months.
After a live blood analysis, it revealed that Mary had severe clumping of her red blood cells, which was impeding her circulation; a lot of uric acid causing inflammation; a red crystal signifying toxic bowel (IBS); as well a pervasive sugar bacteria, fungal forms and bacteria hotels.
A regiment of GI enzymes to help her flush her gut, restore her flora and absorb nutrients plus proteolytic enzymes to break up uric acid crystals, fats/sugars enzymes to digest them (cancer feeds on sugar), and structured silver and Paraguard to address bacteria, fungus and parasitic activity.
After a recent visit to her oncologist, Mary was happy to report that her cancer is dying and her energy is restored not to mention that her body pH went from a 6.0 to a 7.5 (ideal body pH).
She said she used to be half asleep on video calls with her family in the Philippines; now, she has energy and then some for their calls. They have even noticed the change in her energy levels, she said.
